You can permanently delete your Persona account and data at any time, right from the app. There's no form to fill out and nothing to email us — a few taps and it's done.

The short version

In the app, go to the You tab → Delete Account. It's permanent and removes your data.

How to delete your account

Deleting your account takes about a minute and happens entirely inside the app:

  1. Open the Persona app.
  2. Go to the You tab (your profile).
  3. Tap Settings, then Delete Account.
  4. Confirm. Your account and associated personal data are permanently deleted.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove your profile, photos, voice intro, avatar and personality data, matches and messages, and verification media. Content you shared with others is removed.

What we may keep

We retain only limited records we're legally required to keep — for example, to comply with law, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud and abuse. We keep these only as long as necessary, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your subscription

In short

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription — cancel it separately.

App Store subscriptions are managed by Apple, not Persona, so deleting your account will not cancel one. To cancel, open iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions and cancel Persona there.
